Dear AD&D Members:
I am honored and energized to have been selected as the 2026–2027 Secretary/Treasurer for AD&D. This opportunity represents more than a leadership role; it is a platform to contribute meaningfully to an organization that shapes the future of higher education leadership and student success.
My professional journey has been grounded in a deep commitment to advancing University College and Undergraduate Studies through intentional strategies that center on student success, access, and leadership development. In my role as Associate Dean at North Carolina Central University, I have worked to design and implement systems that improve persistence, strengthen academic outcomes, and create meaningful pathways for students, particularly those navigating higher education for the first time.
As Secretary/Treasurer, I will bring a results-driven and collaborative approach focused on:
- Strategic Alignment
Ensuring that organizational priorities are clearly documented, fiscally sound, and aligned with AD&D’s long-term vision.
- Operational Excellence
Strengthening transparency, communication, and accountability across board operations to support efficient and impactful decision-making.
- Member Engagement & Growth
Supporting initiatives that expand opportunities for professional development, leadership cultivation, and cross-institutional collaboration.
I am deeply passionate about advancing the mission of University College and Undergraduate Studies as critical engines of student success. This role allows me to extend that passion beyond my institution and contribute to a broader collective impact. This moment is about positioning AD&D for its next phase of growth and relevance. I am committed to contributing thoughtful leadership, disciplined execution, and a forward-focused mindset that ensures our organization continues to lead in shaping student success outcomes nationally.
Sincerely,
Dr. Kweneshia Price Associate Dean, University College North Carolina Central University
